Nordic and SEGGER have partnered to offer a no-cost license of SEGGER Embedded Studio (SES) for use with the Nordic nRF52 family, and that also includes our modules. Here is Nordic's announcement:
SES can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Once you install SES, you can request the no-cost license here. It's linked to your computer's MAC address, though you can install it on multiple computers. You just need to request a license for each one:
Nordic has also created a series of training videos to get you set up and debugging with the IDE:
Nordic's SDK v14.1.0 and newer are supported. It's best to use the latest, currently at v15.2.0.
