Rigado modules are based on industry standard ARM Cortex MCUs. This allows a developer to select between several IDE environments and development tools.
The BMD-100 is a Bluetooth low energy network co-processor module with the ST Microelectronics BlueNRG-MS that can interface to many host MCUs over a SPI port. The choice of IDE depends on what is available for the host MCU. In addition to publishing the SPI interface API, ST provides libraries for the BlueNRG-MS that integrate with their IDE for other ST MCUs.

The Nordic Semiconductor-based modules utilize tools supported by the Nordic nRF5 and Mesh SDKs. Supported IDEs are SEGGER Embedded Studio (SES), GCC, Keil and IAR.
