There are two requirements set out by the Bluetooth SIG in order to use the Bluetooth name or logo in conjunction with a product:
Membership in the Bluetooth SIG is required. There are several levels of membership to the Bluetooth SIG, starting at free.
All products that use the Bluetooth name, logo or other identifying collateral are required to be listed with the Bluetooth SIG. The SIG charges a fee for each product listing. The fee schedule can be found here.
Our Rigado modules are tested as a "RF PHY" certified component. This, coupled with the MCU manufacturers' Link Layer and HCI certified components provide the necessary parts to complete a product declaration with the SIG. A design incorporating a Rigado module typically falls under the "Declaration" or "Path 1" as defined at this link.
NOTE: As of February 1, 2014, the Bluetooth SIG changed the product listing procedure and now requires a listing fee for all products, including those identified as "End Products". Please refer to https://www.bluetooth.com/develop-with-bluetooth/qualification-listing/qualification-listing-fees
